Presentation of CIMPA Schools

Historically, CIMPA's activity concerns the organisation of CIMPA Schools in developing countries. It focuses on areas where there is real enthusiasm and where there is a scope for research project. the purpose of CIMPA School is to provide an introduction to recent research in pure and applied Mathematics, as well as related subjects such as Computer Sciences and Theoretical Physics. CIMPA Schools are aimed at students and research teaching staff from developing countries. CIMPA provides the schools with financial support to cover the travel and living expenses of participants from neighbouring countries. Call for proposals are launched every year, with a view to organising twenty or so CIMPA Schools the following year.
