CIMPA supports advanced mathematical schools in partnership with continental mathematical unions or committees :
- African Mathematical Union (AMU) for the African Mathematical Schools (AMS) ;
- Unión de Matemática de América Latina y del Caribe (UMALCA) for the Escuelas de Matemática de América Latina y del Caribe (EMALCA) ;
- Southeast Asian Mathematical Society for the SEAMS Schools;
- Committee of the Asian-European Schools in Mathematics for the AESIM Schools.
These schools are usually of Master's or final Bachelor Degree level, and are intended for students living in countries where they stand and from neighboring countries. Host countries with priority 1,2 or 3 in the IMU-list of developing countries are particularly welcome. These schools can be used to reinforce a Masters course or as preparation for a CIMPA school.
Calls for proposals, dealing with these proposals and work with the organisers of these schools to improve projects are the responsibility of committees of the continental unions where CIMPA is often represented. The links to the pages for each call are given below.
