The CIMPA-ICTP fellowships program "Research in Pairs" makes it possible for researchers in mathematics based in a developing country to come to Europe to collaborate with a colleague for a period of at least 6 weeks.
Registrations will be open from August, but you can already discover the schools' programme by consulting the following page.
Professor Carolina Benedetti Velasquez (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia) will give a course on "Lattice Path Matroids, Polytopes and Permutations" from July 4 to 7, 2022.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Bas Edixhoven, Professor of Geometry at the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) and member of CIMPA, who died on January 16 of a devastating tumor.
All of us will remember him as a great mathematician and a caring mentor, who shared his time and knowledge generously with colleagues. He had recently worked to bring the Dutch community closer to CIMPA.
Our condolences go out to his family and many friends. We will always remember Bas.
A bilateral agreement to support the continuation of the Master's programme was signed between CIMPA and the Laboratoire de Modélisation, Mathématiques, Informatique, Applications et Simulation (L2MIAS) (Chad).
