The courses will be divided into three parts: preparatory courses, advanced courses, and research seminars. The preparatory courses will be in the first week, the advanced courses and the research seminars will be in the second week. In general, each day will be 2 courses, coffee break, course, lunch, and a last course.

The main objective of the school is to boost the Uruguayan activities
within Applied Mathematics, Computational Science and Engineering. This school will serve as a part of an ongoing project for the development of applied mathematics in Uruguay, which focuses among others in Networks, Numerical methods, Biomathematics, Mathematical Finance, Insurance, etc. In particular, we expect that the school will attract and eventually motivate more

This CIMPA Summer School is intended for pregraduate and postgraduate students interested in Inverse Problems and related areas where these problems naturally arise as is the case of Control Theory, Optimal Design, Acoustics, Geophysics, Engineering, Biology, Medicine, etc. The different courses cover some of the current research areas in Inverse Problems with different fucuses presented by selected lecturers who are active researchers on these areas.
