Algebraic Methods in Topology

Online CIMPA Pre-School “Algebraic Methods in Topology”, December 14-19, 2020. This Pre-School consists in 4 online mini-courses covering foundational topics in Algebra and Topology as preparation for the CIMPA School “Algebraic Methods in Topology” to be held in El Salvador in 2022.

This Pre-School is aimed for senior-undergraduate and graduate math students.

Proclaim of the results - Ibni Prize 2020

Jean-Michel Marin, president of the Société Française de Statistique (SFDS), Olivier Goubet, president of the Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (SMAI), Fabien Durand, president of the Société Mathématique de France (SMF), are pleased to announce that the Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh Prize 2020 has been awarded to Zobo Vincent de Paul Ablé & Audace Dossou-Olory.

Good news: CIMPA has just obtained a grant from Simons Foundation!

CIMPA is very pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the Simons Foundation.

This grant will support CIMPA Courses and will also allow the creation of CIMPA-SIMONS Fellows, offering the possibility to young mathematics researchers from developing countries to take part in short thematic programmes in Europe.

Thanks to this grant, lots of great projects will be made possible!

AMU-PACOM 2021 Awards and Medals

The AMU-PACOM 2021 Awards and Medals will be presented during the 10th Pan African Congress of Mathematicians (PACOM 2021) and will be held in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, from August 2 to 7, 2021. The awards and medals are intended to foster innovative research and mentorship in all areas of mathematical sciences across the continent, recognize and honor outstanding contribution to the development of Mathematical Sciences through Africa.
