Mathematical modeling and computer simulation tools have been growing enormously in the fields of mathematics and physics applied to biophysics, biology, biochemistry and bioengineering. The reasons for this large attention of the mathematical community are multi-faceted. Among them, the mathematical modeling in biology and medicine is one of the most important challenges of mathematics applied to scientific problems. It has been shown to be a substantial tool for the investigation of complex biophysical phenomena, such as cancer.

Geometric flows are burning topic now a days which involve the evolution of Riemannian metric along with some geometric concepts.

Ces dernières années ont vu un renouveau de l’étude des graphes combinatoires par une approche issue de la physique mathématique, de la théorie du potentiel ou de la géométrie riemannienne. Cette École de recherche propose d’aborder ces questions avec :

Les conférences et cours proposés concernent trois communautés de chercheurs travaillant sur la modélisation du vivant par EDP par EDO (dynamique des populations, génomique, ... ) ou par Analyse Stochastique. Les cours concerneront aussi bien les aspects mathématiques et le développement de méthodes numériques que l’utilisation de la simulation numérique pour la compréhension des phénomènes biologiques.

L’objectif de notre école vise à initier les participants à la formulation des modèles mathématiques et informatiques en épidémiologie, immunologie, écologie et agronomie et à l’utilisation des outils des systèmes dynamiques et d’analyse numérique dans l’analyse des situations réelles d’épidémies au sein d’une population humaine ou animale, de bio-agresseurs des plantes et de dynamiques de population.

This CIMPA School will introduce participants to selected topics of Mathematics with direct applications in privacy and security issues. The presentations will include the necessary background in order to understand the main concepts, as well as many motivating examples of the application of these topics to particular security and privacy issues, together with open problems in the corresponding areas. The aim is to motivate a group of bright students to continue working in those areas at the doctoral or postdoctoral level.

Lattices play a central role in number theory and its applications. The aim of this school is to introduce participants to the ubiquity of lattices in number theory, algebra, arithmetic algebraic geometry, cryptography and coding theory. The theory of lattices will be developed from its very beginning and the basic notions required for the applications in number theory, algebra, arithmetic algebraic geometry will be provided. Appearances of lattices that we intend to cover include : The natural lattices structures of Mordell-Weil groups and unit groups. Lie algebra root lattices.

Cette école propose de renforcer les échanges scientifiques entre les chercheurs des iles de l’Océan Indien et leurs collègues français et espagnol ainsi que de former à la recherche les étudiant(e)s en thèse et en Master des îles Comores, de Madagascar, de Maurice, de l’Ile de la Réunion sur les thèmes abordés lors de ces journées scientifiques. Un des objectifs de l’école est d’établir et/ou renforcer un véritable tissu d’échanges, de collaborations et de formations durant une dizaine de jours.

This Research School is addressed graduate students and young researchers in Geometry, Topology and Mathematical Physics, although undergraduates and senior researchers in other areas may profit of the introductory lectures too, and are warmly invited to join the School.

Combinatorics is at the center of many areas in pure and applied mathematics. This summer school will focus on the versatility of combinatorics to shed light on problems in algebra, geometry, optimization, and mathematical physics. We will also discuss how algebraic and geometric perspectives can help us understand purely combinatorial objects.
