Scientific and Organizing Committee
List the members of the scientific and organizing committee. For each person, provide the affiliation and the gender. At the end of each committee, please give the percentage of women.
EMA Event Details
An EMA lasts 2 to 4 weeks. Please provide the exact expected dates.

Name and address of the host institution (university or equivalent) and its webpage.

Briefly describe the venue where the School will take place. If it is not a usual academic environment (university or equivalent), give details about the facilities and material (rooms, blackboard/whiteboard, video-projector, internet connection, etc.) that will be there to allow the school to take place in good conditions. Real classrooms with tables to take notes and space for the instructors to move around the participants are better than amphitheaters.

Please give some details on the format (tutorials, exercises, use of computers or other facilities, mini-projects, etc), and mechanism of evaluation.
Please upload the expected schedule. Make sure to indicate all the activities with their instructors. Show clearly the distinction between the various type of activities (lectures, tutorials, programming,...).

Participants and Facilities
Provide the number of expected students with the proportion coming from the host country and from other countries. Note: An EMA is organized for a number of participants between 40 and 80.
Detail the housing and food facilities that will be made available to students.
Detail the lodging facilities and living conditions offered to the lecturers.
Budget and Support

CIMPA SUPPORT: In general, CIMPA support is between 6 and 8k€. At least 2/3 of CIMPA support needs to be used for travel and/or living expenses of young mathematicians (less or equal to 36 years old or with a PhD defense during the last 5 years) affiliated to the host country or neighboring developing countries . The rest of CIMPA support can be used exclusively 

  • For the travel/accommodation/meals of lecturers affiliated to developing countries who will provide at least 6 hours of pedagogical activities (economy class travel and/or standard living expenses);
  • For the accommodation/meals of any lecturer who will provide at least 6 hours of pedagogical activities;
  • For coffee breaks, logistics or social event.
     

On CIMPA support, all reimbursements will be made upon presentation of invoices (global in case of meals or accommodation). CIMPA will not reimburse tickets in case of failure for obtaining a visa. NOT ALLOWED (on any funding):

  • registration fees, proceedings, or administrative fees from the host institute;
  • honorariums for the lecturers, beside the normal reimbursing living expenses.

Provide the estimated budget: anticipated resources (indicate expected or confirmed) and expenses (flight, accommodation, meals, coffee-breaks).

It is recommended that a letter of support from the host institution be included in the application.
