Call for papers: CARI 2018 in Stellenbosh (South Africa)

CARI, the African Conference on Research in Computer Science, is the outcome of an international cooperation involving African universities, French research institutes, and international organizations. Occurring once every two years since its first edition held in 1992 (Yaounde, Cameroon), CARI is more than a scientific gathering, but a dynamic environment for cooperation that brings together African researchers, and decision-makers in the fields of computer science and applied mathematics.

CIMPA-CARMIN Funding for the IHP Trimester "Analytics, Inference, and Computation in Cosmology" (september-december 2018)

Every year, the Institut Henri Poincaré features three focused trimester programs attended by many researchers (professors and students) from France and abroad. Those trimesters provide the ideal environment, through conferences, workshops and courses, to interchange ideas and technics on a specific research area in mathematics or theoretical physics.

From September 3rd to december 14th 2018, will be held the IHP trimester « Analytics, Inference, and Computation in Cosmology »

You can now follow the CIMPA on FACEBOOK!

GRAID: A new IMU Program for Graduate Research Assistantships in Developing Countries

The program provides research assistantships to graduate – PhD and Master – students of emerging research groups working in a developing country listed in Priority 1 or 2 of the IMU CDC Definition of Developing Countries. It provides modest support for emerging research groups, making it possible for them to fund their most talented students as graduate research assistants, thereby fostering the growth of a mathematics community. It is assumed that the emerging research group has an ongoing collaboration with an international mathematician.
