The proposed school lies within the framework of the Europe-Latin America Network in Applied Mathematics (REALMA) whose objective is the development of a structured program of cooperation including
- mobility of researchers, teachers and students,
- common programs of education and research,
- e-learning, on line documentation,
- organisation of conferences and thematic schools.
The school will enable the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Habana to naturally fit into REALMA.
