Presentation

This school aims to bring together researchers in Statistics from Europe, USA and Latin America with a twofold purpose. First, the school has a formative character directed to offer young Latin American researchers a broad perspective of some leading current developments in Mathematical Statistics including, among others, models in mathematical finance, stochastic geometry, high-dimensional and functional data and nonparametric methodologies. Second, the school will hopefully represent an opportunity to boost the interaction among junior and senior researches from Europe and America in an informal and friendly working atmosphere.
